If your valve insert is black, this is the correct insert. The pin color can vary from white to green to yellow and is not a determination of which insert you need.

The best determination is simply looking at the color of the insert, not the pin.
Works with semi-recessed valves on most RIBS, Classics, Futuras, Yachtlines recent Cadets, and Zodiac Sport Boats, Classic Mark 1 Valve.

For valve adapter see related products below. There are 2 different kinds. One locks in (Z67068), the other is flexible rubber and tension based (C5102).
Compatible with both quarter turn cap and screw cap style semi-recessed valves.
System is not meant to be 100% air tight until the cap is on. Check to make sure the O ring in the cap does not need replacing as well (O ring part #Z6851 listed in related products below). Once installed, air can leak rapidly if the white diaphragm is pushed up inside the plunger. It’s important that the white diaphragm lays flat.
